1960 Volkswagen Ragtop Beetle

Once again, you must be careful when having a car sandblasted not to distort any of the bodypanels. Because of this, the mjority of the exterior bodywork had to be stripped by hand. We then gave both chassis and bodyshell a number of coats of protective primer to keep rust at bay whilst Joe has the car back to trial fit parts and overhaul/detail the chassis. Please note there is no seam sealer or filler anywhere on the car, what you see is the metalwork in its barest form.
The car will hopefully be returning later this year for a full respray. Joe has been busy collecting a very nice selection of parts including a narrowed lowered front beam and dropped spindles. This will look fantastic when finished.
