A ready built loom to allow the use of the correct 405/BX Mi16 Motronic engine management system in the Peugeot 205 and 309 GTI. Wiring looms are professionally built with all wires checked for internal breakages and any worn connectors replaced. The looms are then double insulated to protect from water and dirt. All loom plugs and connectors are clearly labelled to allow easy, quick and trouble free fitting. Our project pages feature a number of cars running with our MI16 conversion engine looms. Peugeot wiring varies greatly from loom to loom so we must be supplied with the 8 Valve engine loom from your 205/309 GTI and the engine loom from the MI16 engine you wish to use. We strive to get looms returned to customers within 10 days. Shipping is £7.50 to UK destinations.

Re-Angled MI16 Exhaust manifold.

In its standard form, the MI16 exhaust manifold collides with the bulkhead of the 205 GTI. To get around this problem people tend to heavily angle the engine backwards - which leads to oil starvation issues, or they 're-model' the bulkhead itself using a large hammer. Either method is messy and potentially dangerous.

Our exhaust manifolds are re-angled to erase the problem. All joints are professionally welded (its our day job!) and theres no need to use re-angling plates (which are hard to get a gas tight seal), silly shaped washers or large hammers. Sold on an exchange basis - we must be provided with a standard MI16 Exhaust manifold. Photos of the item fitted:

*Please note all exhaust manifolds are now supplied with a coat of VHT paint. Depending on the manufacturer of your exhaust system, there is a small chance that your exhaust downpipe will need further modification.
